Come See Cards You Can Purchase on Line

Now there's a web site:  Card Main E A -- where you can view all my cards and also, if you are interested, you can purchase cards on line.

I'm excited about this, as people who know me can attest to, I am a "card making addict" so would love to sell some to enable me to make more. Make sense, probably not , but hope you will hop over and take a look.

General Cards

I sent this card as a get well card. I think humor is the best medicine in a lot of cases. I got the saying off the Internet and it says "Remember, in life, sometimes you're the dog and sometimes you're the hydrant".

This could be used as a birthday or general card. I stamped the image and used colored pencils. (I was coloring it in a dark room one evening and obviously used a "different" color than I thought on her hair! She's a modern girl now. I colored in the puddle under her feet and then added glossy accents to make it look wet.
Inside I stamped "You blow me away".

Birthday Cards

I got this idea from the Internet. Don't you just love the Internet!!!! I stamped the butterflies with Staz-On white and added white embossing powder, on vellum. Then them cut them out and used rolled up glue dots to adhere the bodies to the card. I added pearls and a greeting.

I got the idea for this card on the Internet. I thought it was very feminine so I wanted to make it. I stamped my flower 3 times and colored them. Then I cut them in layers. I didn't use 3D because I didn't want it to be too thick. I turned up some of the edges on the flower as well as the leaves. I added Flower Soft to the center. I used Distress ink to color the bkgd for the flower. I added pearls and stamped the greeting.

I'm getting up there in age (and so are my friends) so I made this card for one of them. On the inside it has a saying I found on the Internet:
"I like your optimism, buying green bananas at your age."

I have a friend who LOVES strawberries so I iris folded this card for her.

Baby's First Cards

This was made for a baby's first Valentine card.
I stamped the carriage and mounted it on a sky bkgd with 3D dots. I added some hearts flat and some I made 3D. I added Stickles to a couple of them. Then I added strings (with a pen) to make them balloons. The baby's hand looks to be holding the balloons.

Baby's first Easter card---I stamped the "little train images" and then added flocking to the animal ones, so they are soft to the touch. I added some color with the strips, after I border punched one.

Baby Cards

This is a baby announcement card. I made a diaper bag on the inside which holds a removable card for all the details.

These are some baby cards which I have created. I had twins in mind when I did these.

Easter Cards

I cut a hole in the base card, another hole a little smaller in a blue paper. I stamped the image twice and colored them in. I glued one behind the blue paper and then cut out the parts which spilled over the edge and added them on the front of the card. I then added the green stamped leaves for added interest.

This was going to be a new-born baby card where it would say something like, "So glad you hatched out in time for Easter", but I wasn't sure if it would offend people so I made it into an Easter card. I really love the "little guy" with the shell still on his head. I used two different stamps for this. I inked around the outside of the card for more color.

First I used Distress inks for the sky and grass. Then I stamped with a "grass" stamp. I cut the sentiment like a cloud and inked around that. I put the large egg on flat and 3D'd the bunny.

I bought the saying because I love the humor. I was going to color all the "eggs" brown so I wanted a lot of color with my papers, without detracting from the humor, so I picked some bright colors for strips and added some faux stitching down both sides. I added the House Mouse stamped images with 3D dots.

Valentines

I made a Valentine candy box card. I learned this from a DVD I ordered from Paper Wishes. I will fill the "box" with mini Hershey bars. The card opens as well. I added glossy accents to one heart on the front. I added borders which I punched with a heart border punch. I stamped the sentiment. This was a fun card to make.

I used a black base card for this card, added a strawberry and heart patterned paper and then put on the white scalloped circle. I stamped the sentiment and then stamped all the different hearts with red ink. Some hearts are put on flat and some are 3D. It's busier than most of my cards, but I think I like the look.

This Valentine card I made while taking an on line class. I was learning how to make a reverse image. I used that with the bird holding the heart. I added Stickles to a few of the hearts. I embossed the base card and rounded the corners.

I used a hedgehog stamp for this one. I cut a hole in the front and made the hedgehog 3D so that it pops out when the card is closed. I added ribbon around the top and bottom where the paper and base card meet. Then I added the knot.

Sorry about the glare. This is a 3D stand-up card. I used Penny Black hedgehog stamps. The one in the back I just extended the fence to make it fit.
