<br />
I'm excited about this, as people who know me can attest to, I am a "card making addict" so would love to sell some to enable me to make more. Make sense, probably not , but hope you will hop over and take a look.<br />

Don't you just love the Internet!!!! I stamped the butterflies with Staz-On white and added white embossing powder, on vellum. I added pearls and a greeting.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-o3NePTZVQSc/Ty0zlYnvMkI/AAAAAAAAEJo/u5mFZpaVY7g/s1600/dscn4614.jpg"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-o3NePTZVQSc/Ty0zlYnvMkI/AAAAAAAAEJo/u5mFZpaVY7g/s320/dscn4614.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5705273020305584706" border="0" /></a>I got the idea for this card on the Internet. I thought it was very feminine so I wanted to make it. I stamped my flower 3 times and colored them. Then I cut them in layers. I didn't use 3D because I didn't want it to be too thick. I turned up some of the edges on the flower as well as the leaves. I added Flower Soft to the center. I used Distress ink to color the bkgd for the flower. I added pearls and stamped the greeting.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-N-HrF472spY/Ty0qRFTvsdI/AAAAAAAAEHw/hrbMXPJjOpc/s1600/dscn4588.jpg"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-N-HrF472spY/Ty0qRFTvsdI/AAAAAAAAEHw/hrbMXPJjOpc/s320/dscn4588.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5705262775919423954" border="0" /></a>I'm getting up there in age (and so are my friends) so I made this card for one of them. I stamped the image twice and colored them in. I glued one behind the blue paper and then cut out the parts which spilled over the edge and added them on the front of the card. I then added the green stamped leaves for added interest.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-f3_5_3LAdMY/Ty0n9aFfXPI/AAAAAAAAEG0/woLUhHTK65I/s1600/dscn4602.jpg"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-f3_5_3LAdMY/Ty0n9aFfXPI/AAAAAAAAEG0/woLUhHTK65I/s320/dscn4602.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5705260238876138738" border="0" /></a><br /><br />This was going to be a new-born baby card where it would say something like, "So glad you hatched out in time for Easter", but I wasn't sure if it would offend people so I made it into an Easter card. I really love the "little guy" with the shell still on his head. I used two different stamps for this. I inked around the outside of the card for more color.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Vz7dr_oS5hA/Ty0nXrmmzbI/AAAAAAAAEGo/OjxgFiqx4O8/s1600/dscn4600.jpg"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Vz7dr_oS5hA/Ty0nXrmmzbI/AAAAAAAAEGo/OjxgFiqx4O8/s320/dscn4600.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5705259590743412146" border="0" /></a>First I used Distress inks for the sky and grass. Then I stamped with a "grass" stamp. I cut the sentiment like a cloud and inked around that. I put the large egg on flat and 3D'd the bunny.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YSKVghp_1rI/Ty0mr_Dy_5I/AAAAAAAAEGc/h3Ql0OCkfgs/s1600/dscn4599.jpg"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YSKVghp_1rI/Ty0mr_Dy_5I/AAAAAAAAEGc/h3Ql0OCkfgs/s320/dscn4599.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5705258840051875730" border="0" /></a>I bought the saying because I love the humor. I was going to color all the "eggs" brown so I wanted a lot of color with my papers, without detracting from the humor, so I picked some bright colors for strips and added some faux stitching down both sides. I added the House Mouse stamped images with 3D dots.<br /><br /><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div><input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"><div id="refHTML"></div>Pam from Mainehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10555249434336261008noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-896069337888367150.post-56896331141835034112012-02-04T04:26:00.001-08:002012-02-04T05:32:30.379-08:00Valentines<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-UDKdKYqtlTk/Ty0y13qAmVI/AAAAAAAAEJc/2EwNuD7axXM/s1600/dscn4610.jpg"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-UDKdKYqtlTk/Ty0y13qAmVI/AAAAAAAAEJc/2EwNuD7axXM/s320/dscn4610.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5705272204002892114" border="0" /></a>I made a Valentine candy box card. I learned this from a DVD I ordered from Paper Wishes. I will fill the "box" with mini Hershey bars. The card opens as well. I added glossy accents to one heart on the front. I added borders which I punched with a heart border punch. I stamped the sentiment. This was a fun card to make.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-khh8gqQ_19A/Ty0l_H-ualI/AAAAAAAAEGQ/bZh-jRfxvqE/s1600/dscn4582.jpg"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-khh8gqQ_19A/Ty0l_H-ualI/AAAAAAAAEGQ/bZh-jRfxvqE/s320/dscn4582.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5705258069352409682" border="0" /></a>I used a black base card for this card, added a strawberry and heart patterned paper and then put on the white scalloped circle. I stamped the sentiment and then stamped all the different hearts with red ink. Some hearts are put on flat and some are 3D. It's busier than most of my cards, but I think I like the look.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-iEOxgDixypU/Ty0lXv7tC2I/AAAAAAAAEGE/CariXfbME1k/s1600/dscn4557.jpg"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-iEOxgDixypU/Ty0lXv7tC2I/AAAAAAAAEGE/CariXfbME1k/s320/dscn4557.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5705257392882387810" border="0" /></a>This Valentine card I made while taking an on line class. I was learning how to make a reverse image. I used that with the bird holding the heart. I added Stickles to a few of the hearts. I embossed the base card and rounded the corners.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-u6wcsohuHRk/Ty0k2RTYLMI/AAAAAAAAEF4/gums0MBMLvQ/s1600/dscn4545.jpg"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-u6wcsohuHRk/Ty0k2RTYLMI/AAAAAAAAEF4/gums0MBMLvQ/s320/dscn4545.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5705256817724501186" border="0" /></a>I used a hedgehog stamp for this one. I cut a hole in the front and made the hedgehog 3D so that it pops out when the card is closed. I added ribbon around the top and bottom where the paper and base card meet. I worked with the front of the card and only added it to the white base card at the very end.<br /><br />I used most of one of Penny Black's stamps for this. I stamped it twice and used the bear and bottom of the snowman from one stamped image and the two hedgehogs and top of snowman from the second stamped image. I left off the mouse at the end of the stamp so the hedgehogs would have room to move.<br /><br />I started with a dark blue mat and added white "snow". I then used 3 D tape to add the bear and the bottom of the snowman.<br /><br />I measured where I wanted the slit, first cuts were with a craft knife and then I made it larger with scissors. I made a strong pull by doubling the cardstock. I added a button to the end of the pull and a button to the back of the larger hedgehog. I then glued those together, with the hedgehogs on the outside and the pull on the inside.<br /><br />Last thing I did was to glue the mat to the base card, being careful to leave the pull free.<br /><br />You could use different colors and make this a winter birthday card. Either way, birthday or Christmas, you could add a sentiment to the pull tab--where it only shows when you pull it out.<br /><br />Hope this is clear enough to follow, if you would like to make one. Then I used the red car as the base and cut and glued the other colored parts to it. I used markers to add some shading. I used a cloud sky bkgd, added torn paper for snow and then stamped the trees. I added car tracks with a grey pencil and then added the sentiment.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-TVVWR36P1LI/TtYdnu0S8dI/AAAAAAAAD-8/fnWmX6iAjh4/s1600/dscn4377.jpg"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-TVVWR36P1LI/TtYdnu0S8dI/AAAAAAAAD-8/fnWmX6iAjh4/s320/dscn4377.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5680760548393939410" border="0" /></a># 62 I haven't finished this card yet, but really like how it's looking. I bought a new gingerbread border punch and was anxious to try it out. I added "frosting" details to it to make sure it looked like gingerbreadmen instead of a fence. I cut the house with "My Community" Cricut cartridge and added some peppermint stickers. I covered the gum drops with Frosty Lace Stickles and added some to the roof and chimney as well. I now need to add a sentiment.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-jMnQ2MloLgY/TtYczbGgayI/AAAAAAAAD-w/HGdwG3iiRQ8/s1600/dscn4374.jpg"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-jMnQ2MloLgY/TtYczbGgayI/AAAAAAAAD-w/HGdwG3iiRQ8/s320/dscn4374.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5680759649748413218" border="0" /></a># 61 I got this idea from a commercial card I saw. I used basic shapes to make the card, stamped items for the reindeer and Santa and the presents are stickers. I added the funny saying because it looked like some trips I've been on when their was some "disagreement" going on. I thought that would be fun.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-4gjPTXsRDx8/Tsuchfs4auI/AAAAAAAAD-A/PTbxbnlscRY/s1600/dscn4350.jpg"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-4gjPTXsRDx8/Tsuchfs4auI/AAAAAAAAD-A/PTbxbnlscRY/s320/dscn4350.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5677803854490004194" border="0" /></a># 60 Here are my friends, the hedgehogs, again!<br />I used Distress ink on the bkgd and sticky tape sheet, torn, to mask off the snowy hill. I raised the colored images with 3D dots and added some snow flake embellishments I've had for awhile.<br />Then I added the sentiment, which I printed out on a clear label. Finally I added Frosty Lace glitter to the hats and the snowy hill.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-3PLHLD4n5so/TspT9FtjmOI/AAAAAAAAD9o/xkTZCjrW9KQ/s1600/dscn4348.jpg"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-3PLHLD4n5so/TspT9FtjmOI/AAAAAAAAD9o/xkTZCjrW9KQ/s320/dscn4348.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5677442589224311010" border="0" /></a> # 58 I like the look of sharp contrast and that's what I went for with this card.
