General Cards

#29
I found this copy of the girls in my "stash" draw so not sure where I originally found it. When I saw the sentiment stamp I remembered the picture and think they go well together. I double copied the picture and made the umbrella 3 D. I turned this into a birthday card by adding inside:
....on your birthday
and all year through.

General Cards

#28
I found this paper with part of a tree, with limb and owl. Thought it would be fun to use it with the Cricut owl cut from the Create a Critter cartridge. Then I happened upon a small stamp that fit with this perfectly. This could be a thinking of you card, a thank you card, birthday, or other.

I used this stamp for some autumn birthday cards this year. I loved the stamp and, since I love to color, this was a good combination for me.

This was made with Lawn Fawn stamps and an idea from their site. I think this would make someone smile.

This idea I got from somewhere on the Internet. Makes a cute birthday card for a child.

Anniversary

I saw a similar card on line and really liked it so I made some. I had the owl stamp. I stamped paper with the wood grain and cut it into log shapes. I used baker's twine (for the first time) for the swing. I added faux stitch lines to give it a more finished look. I also stamped x's and o's with a stamp.

I embossed the bkgd, added a black mat and then worked on the front. I stamped the branch and birds directly onto the white front. I then stamped the birds again on blue paper, cut them cut, and added them with 3 D dots. I added a strip of patterned paper across the bottom and ribbon. I stamped the sentiment.

I cut the blender with the From My Kitchen Cricut cartridge. I cut a piece from a gift bag for the glittery background. I used a heart punch to cut the two hearts and then threaded them through a ribbon. I left them unglued at first, but they kept moving around so I ended up using glue dots on them. I added a butterfly in the upper left hand corner. Inside it says You blend really well together. Nice for an anniversary or wedding.

Christmas

I stamped the trees with white StazOn ink and added paper torn snow. I cut the deer with the Cricut. I added shading and footprints with a colored pencil - smokey.

#21
I stamped the deer, used a circle punch for the moon and the sentiment was another stamp. I chose to use limited color for a certain effect.

#22
I used a border punch for the "tracks" and stamped and cut out the train pieces. The bear is from the same Lawn Fawn stamp set as the train. I colored in the bear and added a cut candy cane. I used stickles to add snow.

#23
You could mask off the drums, but I chose to stamp on colored paper and cut them cut. I added green rick rack for some different texture.

Get Well Cards

I cut Red Ridinghood with the My Community Cricut cartridge. I used ribbon as the tablecloth in the basket.
