Elaine's Cards

Elaine is a friend of mine who has just recently gone crazy for stamping cards. She can't upload her photos yet, but she certainly can adapt a stamp to create new and interesting looks.

Elaine cut out an oval to feature her dragonfly. She printed her sentiments/messages on clear
mailing labels so they are self adhesive. The front features a faux finish, which resulted from a mistake. You'd never know it. It's beautiful. BUT she got a fingerprint on the front so she swished up a paper, dipped it in the ink and moved it around on the front. This is a perfect example of how you can turn a "mistake" into something unexpectedly beautiful.
Great job, Elaine.

With this birthday card, she changed the larger hedgehog from pulling a cart to holding balloons. She added a parade of little hedgehogs (these were holding x'mas stockings).

On the inside of the card, in order to get the little hedgehog going the opposite direction, she put it up to a window and traced it. She added the cutest tablecloth and topped it all off with several other stamps. She used a MS corner punch and a sentiment.

Not bad for someone who just started. Can't wait to see what she comes up with after this!
