#18 I found this Halloween spider ribbon into AC Moore's and wanted to use it on a card. I had some spider web paper so I used that on the bottom. I added a white spider web in the upper left corner and wrote Happy Halloween in "shaky" letters. Inside I added a black spider web with a stamped spider and a sentiment.
#15 I used a gift bag, stamped the Christmas ball on it and then stamped it again on green for the bow. Simple and nice, and quick.
#16 This mitten card was fun to make. I love to color so this gave me lots of chances to add colors. It was a stamp and I carefully cut it out, ribbon and all.
#17 Loved this mouse and candy stamp. I stamped it on the inside and added an empty shaker box on top. When you open it the mouse and candy stamp is complete on the inside.
#13 I got the idea for this one on the Internet. I used two different bkgd stamps (polka dot and musical). I used a note punch for the red note and the greeting is yet another stamp. This one is my sample as I messed up in the upper right hand corner.
#14
I am going to add a different strawberry to the top of the cupcakes because the one I used doesn't show up enough. I like the cards however. It could be a birthday card, an appreciation card, or others I'm sure you'll think of. I used real sprinkles for the decoration on the "frosting" and used Glossy Accents to adhere them. The paper I used was from DCWV called "The Sweet Stack". It is a 12 X 12 collection.
I used my new Sizzix embossing machine and embossed the basic card using Cuttlebug embossing folder "Perfectly Paisley". I used orange as the "one of a kind" element, as suggested earlier this week (using the opposite color on the color wheel).
#11 I really like the looks of Lisa's card today and wanted to try a painted bkgd using Hero Arts white embossing ink. I painted the bkgd with Ranger's Distress inks, broken china, stormy sky, and peeled paint. Then I gave it a quick squirt of Perfect Pearl to give it a little shine.
I'm so sad this class is almost over. I'm having such a wonderful time experimenting.
I was experimenting with my new Hero Arts white embossing ink. (My old brand darkened when heated.) I also tried tone on tone inking using Hero Hues Chalk ink Cerulean.
#10 I tried the clear middle similar to the video that Jennifer shared with us this morning. It was fun. I spilled a little water on the top and it puckered a little. I will do another card later and use this one as my sample card. It was fun. The next card I'll use a little narrower strip on my butterfly border punched piece also.
