Christmas ideas

# 64 I used a car stamp and stamped it 4 times, each time on a different color. Then I used the red car as the base and cut and glued the other colored parts to it. I used markers to add some shading. I used a cloud sky bkgd, added torn paper for snow and then stamped the trees. I added car tracks with a grey pencil and then added the sentiment.

# 62 I haven't finished this card yet, but really like how it's looking. I bought a new gingerbread border punch and was anxious to try it out. I added "frosting" details to it to make sure it looked like gingerbreadmen instead of a fence. I cut the house with "My Community" Cricut cartridge and added some peppermint stickers. I covered the gum drops with Frosty Lace Stickles and added some to the roof and chimney as well. I now need to add a sentiment.

# 61 I got this idea from a commercial card I saw. I used basic shapes to make the card, stamped items for the reindeer and Santa and the presents are stickers. I added the funny saying because it looked like some trips I've been on when their was some "disagreement" going on. I thought that would be fun.

# 60 Here are my friends, the hedgehogs, again!
I used Distress ink on the bkgd and sticky tape sheet, torn, to mask off the snowy hill. I raised the colored images with 3D dots and added some snow flake embellishments I've had for awhile.
Then I added the sentiment, which I printed out on a clear label. Finally I added Frosty Lace glitter to the hats and the snowy hill.

# 58 I like the look of sharp contrast and that's what I went for with this card. I really like simple and crisp looking cards. I hope I achieved that here.

# 57 I started with the paper strip at the bottom. I really liked that paper. I then cut a sleigh with my Cricut from "Joys of the Season". I took the sayings from the Christmas song---most all know. I thought that would be fun.

This is the inside of the card. I missed the bottom of his beard in this one. I went back and "fixed" it.

# 56 Here is another of the hedgehog stamps I love so much. I made the little guy 3D. I inked around the circle and heat embossed the sentiment. I also added faux stitches along the edges of the patterned paper strips.

# 55 Talk about loving the "raggedy" series, here they are again. Love, love, love these carolers. I can almost hear their songs. I colored them with colored pencils. I used Distress ink on the bkgd.

# 54 I used stamps and the cricut to make this card. I copied the idea from a class I was taking. After talking with Elaine, I added the gilded mirror.

# 53 Love this new duel set of a stamp and embossing folder for the bkgd. I cut the candy ornament with "Joys of the Season" cartridge.

# 52 A gift card for Christmas? Make it special.

This is the inside of a gift card idea.

# 59 I used this digital image to create a card for an on-line class I was taking. I fell in love with the "raggedy" series.

Christmas

# 50 I made this card for all the "dog lovers" out there.

# 49 Thought I'd try a soft, feminine look for Christmas. I love this little girl stamp. I covered her apples with green gems for Christmas balls and to match the green in the background.

Thank you Cards

# 43 I just love this little girl stamp. I used a border punch to add a lacy look around her. The stamp was from the "Sara Kay" collection through Simon Says.

Halloween

#42 I used a free download to get the girl and the moon. I used Martha Stewart's web border punch. Inside, I used the web corner punch, cut out a 1" circle and stamped both pieces. I cut a matching strip to the front and added along the inside edge.

# 40 I saw this idea somewhere on the Internet. They used a white card with colored stamped images. I like the look of the black and white on the orange. Very "Halloweeny"!

# 39
I used left over papers for the top and bottom patterned papers. I stamped the witch image on the card itself and then glued on another witch over the top---that way I got the hair without having to cut that part. I added a sentiment, which I matted in yet another scrap. Love that when it works out.

#36
I threaded ribbon through a punched border and added a knot.

Christmas

# 47 I stamped the jar on clear vellum with Staz-on ink. I stamped the cookies and added white trim.

# 46 I used a small stamp I thought would be cute and worked out from there.

# 41 I used a mouse stamp, colored and flocked the mice. They are soft to the touch, which adds a fun element to this card.

#37
I used clear stamps for the teddy bear and gifts. I used a stamp for the tree. I cut the sentiment and curved it to fit around the scalloped punched circle. The glitter circle was punched from a gift bag.

#38
I cut the deer and shadow from Cricut cartridge Joys of the Season. I also cut the oval with the same cartridge. I used a white gel pen for the sentiment.

Birthday Cards

# 45 I found the picture on the Internet and a friend shared some wrapping paper with me. I matted all with black. I think it's a cute birthday card for a boy.

# 44 I colored this girl with the veggie basket and used 3D dots to add to the card. Great for a fall birthday.

#33, 34, 35
Wrapping paper was used as a bkgd on the first two cards and as the middle strip on the third. On the first two cards I cut animals from the Cricut Cartridge "Wild Life". Love this background. I've got to find out where my friend gets her wrapping paper. I think these would make nice male birthday cards. For me, that's a hard one to come up with.

Christmas

#30
The bird card was using more of the wrapping paper I received from a friend. I cut out an extra bird and added it with foam tape. I added a ribbon and bow to finish the card.

#31 & #32
A friend gave me some left over wrapping paper. The "Let it Snow" paper was the perfect bkgd for the snowmen. The vertical snowmen I added with 3 D dots, the teddy bear and snowman I matted and added stickles.
