Thank You Cards

This 3-D tri flower thank you card makes me feel good just looking at it. Think how it could make someone receiving it feel along with your personal thank you note.

Like ladybugs? Need to thank someone? This card might be just the one.

Birthday Cards

I really loved the paper I began with and planned the card around that. I had fun with this card and hope you like it.

I found this cute honeycomb paper in a 6X6 pad "Country Drive" from Echo Park. I couldn't resist making it into a card.

I really love this combination of colors. It makes me feel good to look at them so I was very excited when I found this paper with all three colors in it. Hope it makes you smile.

I fell in love with the green and brown in this paper (picture doesn't do it justice--sorry about that).

Have you got someone who just loves the beach? This sand shaker card may be just the card to wish that person a happy birthday.

Do you find it difficult to make masculine cards? For me, it's the hardest! I do like the look of using Kraft paper and just the black ink. I think it's masculine and sophisticated. I inked the edges and raised it up as well.

Do you LOVE the hedgehog stamps as much as I do???
This card allowed me to make an original birthday card, using a hedgehog stamp. I added different balloons, some party paper and a strip of red.

Ever look at your scraps and KNOW you just have too many? That's what happened when I made this card. I used scraps to make the background on this card. It's really a nice feeling to create a card out of your scraps. Give it a try.

I used a single flower stamp and masked over as I went along. I used colored pencils. I later added three gems to the upper right hand corner of the sentiment.

4th of July Cards

I used a Cricut cartridge, but I used someone else's and don't remember what it's called. Now I need to find a sentiment.

I didn't like the top with the flag. I tried it again with a little different top and liked this one better.

I used pictures I found on Google to help make this 4th of July card. I layered the bottom picture and added Stickles to the top picture. I divided the top and bottom with ribbon.

The plate and silverware are cut from the Cricut cartridge "From My Kitchen" at 2". The background is cloth. I added a stamped ant on the plate.

Retirement Cards

To make this more of a general card, you could use "Just Remember......" The girl on the stamp was holding a cake. I just cut that off.

I went on Goggle images and got a shoe box and a shoe. After cutting a slit in the shoe box, I added a scrap of real tissue paper and the cut out shoe. I used clear mailing labels for the words.

Invitations

I used the tutorial I have posted a link to on this site to make a pop-up card. I used a flower stamp to make the inside water lilies. I used a sticker for the inside frog and a stamp for the info. I drew the lily pads on the front and hand wrote the title (I am planning to use my computer for the words next time). I used another stamp for the frog on the front and a silk four leaf clover for the pad under the frog. I added Glossy Accents to the frog's eye.

Kids Cards

Do you have grandchildren you'd like to send cards to? I will be adding a few ideas here.
I cut the worm from Cricut cartridge "Create a Critter" at "2". I just drew the apple free hand and added the sentiment by using a clear mailing label. This could be sent to a grandchild or used for Teacher Appreciation Day as well.

Here' a card to help you "hug" a child over the miles. I used several different stamps and clear mailing labels.

I cut the alien from Cricut cartridge "B is for Boy". I added all the eyes. I used a white gel pen to make stars in background. I added a blue circle and green scraps for Earth. Inside I wrote "You are out of this world".

I used "B is for Boy" Cricut cartridge to cut the truck and "Our Community Cricut cartridge to cut the road. Inside I have the saying "Have a truck load of fun on your birthday".

I used my Create a Critter cartridge for this card. I put it all on a muted multi-colored background and added stitch marks to finish it off.

Get Well Cards

Here's another Get Well option for you.

Someone suggested doing this card and I thought it would be fun! I like funny get well's rather than serious ones, as you can see.

The girl with the bunny slippers I made in a class. Unfortunately the stamp is no longer available, but I just love her. We stamped it twice, once for a 3-D on the card and once just for the slippers. We bent up the bunny ears and added pompoms, goggle eyes, small paper nose, and thread whiskers. We flocked the girl's nightie so it's soft to the touch.

Wouldn't this make you smile?

I copied the front of a real band aid box and used a band aid stamp on patterned papers.
